- Do you have any TSRs loaded, that might be grabbing a slice of CPU time
- every now and then? Screen savers, scheduling programs, FAX or other TSR
- comm software (like PC-Anywhere), etc. _may_ do this (many don't).
- Are you running under Desqview, or using a multitasking DOS shell like
- Windows? You should be able to optimize DV to work, but I'm less
- confident about Windoze.
- Are your phone lines really noisy?
- At what point do the transfers fail? Same # of bytes every time? Same
- amount of real time (i.e. hh:mm:ss) into the transfer each time? Or is it
- random? The answers to these questions should at least begin to provide
- some clues. Hope this helps.
