  15.         I recently acquired an old NCR AT (286) clone and a modem.
  16.     I am now trying to use the modem, but I have a problem. When I
  17.     issue a mode command, the list that comes up contains the CON
  18.     and the LPTxx, but there are no COMx listed.
  19.  
  20.         Naturally, there were no manuals with this machine. It does
  21.     contain a single card (other than the motherboard) that the
  22.     disks are connected to. That card also has a 9-pin port and a
  23.     25-pin port.

  25.         What am I missing here? Do I need to install the COMs
  26.     myself? Help. Please respond via email as I cannot read this
  27.     group. Thanks in advance.
