- Are you using the Smartdrive that comes with Windows 3.1? It uses delayed
- write to disk and if every now and then too much accumulates in the write
- buffer and it hasn't been given a chance to write to disk it will interrupt
- everything else to catch up with its backlog. On a slower machine/drive
- especially this could cause some relatively lengthy interruptions at
- seemingly random times.
