  37. The dates of Fall '93 COMDEX in Las Vegas should be Nov. 15 -19 (M - F).

  39. Where to stay!  Depends on what you can afford. The main exhibition halls are
  40. the LV Convention Center (LVCC), Sands Convention Center, and the Hilton with
  41. exhibitions also at Bally's, Riviera, Tropicana... 
  42.  
  43. The cheapest place to stay is with a friend or relative.  Otherwise, out on or
  44. near the Strip puts you where it's happening.  Obviously, the major hotels are
  45. the most expensive, but there are a number of smaller places which are cheaper.
  46. But remember... during COMDEX ALL places will be booked up and do tend to raise
  47. their rates for that week.

  49. Based upon 1991 & 1992:
  50. Tickets for admission to the exhibitions cost $75, but all exhibitors get a
  51. number of them to distribute as complimentary passes... so they aren't all that
  52. difficult to come by.

  54. Extra-curricular activities!(??)  You got to be kidding!

  56.        This is Las Vegas!!!!  Whatever your interest, you can surely find...
  57.        somewhere... if not everywhere.

  59.        Oh, if you really want to stick with computer stuff, there are
  60.        always a number of private parties sponsored by various vendors
  61.        each evening... make friends with some an see if you can get an
  62.        invitation.

  64. Misc. hints:   Wear COMFORTABLE shoes!

  66.                And, if you are one (like me) who can't resist picking up
  67.                brochures, trinkets, and the occasional complementary
  68.                packages or demos... plan to either lug back a lot more
  69.                then you brought... or if flying and smart, plan to ship
  70.                your booty home... take a roll of tape, labels, scissors,
  71.                and get boxes from whoever you use to ship... UPS, FedEx,
  72.
