- Comp.Sys.Ibm.Pc, but have not gotten any responses of ANY sort. Here is
- my problem. I am Completely unable to access my modem from windows. In
- fact, after I have exited windows, I am unable to use the modem, unless I
- re-boot the computer. My hardware consists of the following:

- Trident 8900c 1Mb Svga Card, Multisync-clone monitor, Teac 1.2 Mb Floppy

- Maxtor EXT-4380 ESDI drive, MSC Compatible mouse connecxted to COM1:
- Com2: present, but no device connected. Nuvotel 14400IFX V32.bis Modem
- on Com4:.
- I am running QEMM386 under MSDOS 5.0, and sometimes also am running
- DesqView X. I am NOT running Windows under DVX however. I always start
- windows out from MSDOS, with no software other than QEMM running.
-
- I apprecaite any help regarding this problem.
- I realize that this may not be the CORRECT Newsgroup to post this to, but
- please do not flame me. If this is the wrong place, please point me in
- the right direction.
