  11. I just bought a IBM PS/Valuepoint 433DX, and really like it a lot.

  13.  I was reading thru the documentation, and was kind of curious about
  14. something.  I'm thinking about adding another harddrive to this computer.
  15. Probably another 200 Meg Maxtor similar to what's in there.

  17.  The documentation shows how to install the drive, but what I was curious
  18. about and what differs from what I'm used to is the BIOS settings.

  20.  The PS/Valuepoint BIOS doesn't have any settings for harddrives.

  22.  So I'm just curious, if the IDE standard allows for some sort of auto
  23. sensing of drive parameters, kind of like SCSI does?
