- I had this happen with a disk compression program. Once I went past the
- disks capacity it marked the driver read-only. I could not get it back
- to normal with the most popular disk utilities. Fixed the problem by
- re-formating the disk.

- Let me know if you find out how to remove the write protect tab off
- you hard disk any other way. That is exactly what DOS and the
- popular disk utilies told me "remove the write protect tab from your
- C drive". What write protect tab?
