- HP Cartridges are available at < US$20 in Singapore. Mebbe u should
- look around for a cheaper supply. I paid $28 for one the other day (Sin
- $) and this translates to about US$17. Anyway, the double capacity ones
- cost less than twice the price of the "normal" one and is _supposed_ to
- last twice as long. However, I felt print quality was headed down and
- ink color was not as good as the normal capacity one. Might be wrong on
- that though.
-
- I actually felt that I got better performance using JetFill refill ink!
- That's another way to keep DeskJet consumables cheap.

- Note that the DJ is a pretty good workhorse but (i) it's a fair bit
- slower than even an entry-level laser and (ii) it's very paper sensitive
- in that if u use the wrong paper, the baby's going to smudge quite
- badly, (iii) it's a lot less water-smudgeable than the Canon BJs.
-
- Happy shopping. I heading for a HP laser in a couple of years.... but
- in the meantime, the DJ will do just fine....
