  13. HP Cartridges are available at < US$20 in Singapore.  Mebbe u should
  14. look around for a cheaper supply.  I paid $28 for one the other day (Sin
  15. $) and this translates to about US$17.  Anyway, the double capacity ones
  16. cost less than twice the price of the "normal" one and is _supposed_ to
  17. last twice as long.  However, I felt print quality was headed down and
  18. ink color was not as good as the normal capacity one.  Might be wrong on
  19. that though.

  21. I actually felt that I got better performance using JetFill refill ink!
  22. That's another way to keep DeskJet consumables cheap.

  24. Note that the DJ is a pretty good workhorse but (i) it's a fair bit
  25. slower than even an entry-level laser and (ii) it's very paper sensitive
  26. in that if u use the wrong paper, the baby's going to smudge quite
  27. badly, (iii) it's a lot less water-smudgeable than the Canon BJs.

  29. Happy shopping.  I heading for a HP laser in a couple of years.... but
  30. in the meantime, the DJ will do just fine....
