- | I have been using HP Deskjet 500 for two years now and had no problem
- | with it. The quality of print and ease of use are great, but I suggest
- | that you go for a laser printer. I don't like the ink catridge system
- | of the printer very much; I can only print about 200 (two hundred) pages
- | for each ink catridge and it cost about $20.00 to $30.00 for each
- | catridge. You might better off with a laser; it's much more expansive,
- | but you don't have to spend lots of money on ink. As I see the toner
- | for laser would print about 2000-3000 pages with the cost under $100.00.
- | You will save more in the long run.
-
- I am surprised that you only got 200 pages. If you are printing
- mostly text, you should get about 500 pages with our standard
- cartridge and 1000 pages with our new high capacity cartridges.
-
- You should discuss this with our dealers and/or our Customer
- Support Center.
