  14.   I have a little question which I would appriciate answered by someone who
  15. knows what they're on about ...

  17.   I have a 486sx/33 board (ISA) and was thinking about upgrading to local bus,
  18. but am not sure about how difficult this would be.  Firstly, I live in
  19. Australia and no-one locally seems to make a decent LB motherboard.  What I was
  20. thinking about was ordering the board *minus* chips (processor, etc etc) and
  21. having it shipped from the US.  I have heard quite a bit of talk, and ZEOS
  22. seems to have the best board (comments on this?).

  24.   What I would like to know is - What would be the price of getting a VESA LB 
  25. board from the US (price + P&P)?  How easy would it be to swap the chipset 
  26. across from my non-LB ISA board to the new VLB/ISA board?  What chips wouldn't
  27. be able to be swapped, and what would the approx cost of these be?

  29.   Basically, is what I am considering viable both technically and financially? 
  30. I would probably be able to get someone over here to do the swap, so that
  31. shouldn't be a problem.  Also, what is the cost of VLB video cards like?  Well,
  32. that's about it - all replies via email please!
