- Here's a real basic question but for some reason only now thought of it. I
- currently use and have always used an IDE HD, however, I am about to receive a
- computer with a SCSI HD. The hard drive and controller are pretty old and I
- would just assume buy a new IDE hard drive, the reason being the IDE
- controllers and drives seem to be cheaper than SCSI at around the 200 MEG
- range. I was wondering if you can just take out the SCSI controller and HD and
- insert an IDE. Is it that easy or is there something in the BIOS.
-
- I would TREMENDOUSLY appreciate any information or places of reference for
- this question. THANKS A LOT!!
