Hi,
The January issue of Byte Magazine has an interesting article on the performance
aspects of about a dozen cards. Also, will like to point out that S3 928 based cards will be coming out in less than 2 months. So far the 928 is claimed
by S3 to be 2 to 3 times faster than their 924 or 801. The 928 will support
at 1280x1024 64k colors as well as 4MB of ram.
