  22. "Local Bus" is a meaningless phrase, since there aren't many machines that put
  23. anything on the local bus.  The only things I've seen so far on a local bus
  24. are a VGA controller and an FPU (Weitek).

  29. You forgot about Headland!  If you get a "DX2" machine, the Headland HTK342 
  30. (aka Shasta) is much faster than any of the above mentioned ones.  This probably
  31. won't show up much in DOS stuff, but for UNIX or Windows apps, there will be a
  32. big difference.
