-
- ET4000 non-generics? Well, the famous Diamond Speedstar in its various
- permutations (but not the 24X) and the Orchid Prodesigner II use it.
-
- It is the queen of the unaccelerated chipsets. On a local bus it sup-
- posedly rivals the S3 chipset, since accelerators don't see as dramatic
- an increase in speed that the non-accelerated chipsets see when used on
- local bus.
-
- Trident 8900C? Its garbage. If a friend of yours is buying a clone, tell
- them to AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE, since a Tseng-based card costs the same.
- (I find it funny that OS/2 advocates tell people to buy Trident because
- they have great OS/2 support. Thats like telling people to buy Yugos be-
- cause they take Bosch spark plugs).
