- "Slowmicro" has probably had more flames about it on the Net than
- Gateway, and I'd tend to lend more credence to them. The bulk of the
- complaints were slow shipping of software. Don't know about their
- machines.

- By the way... has anyone bought a HD clone? I was about to buy from
- them a year ago but ended up buying locally. They had had good (but
- few) net.reviews and were willing to ship you almost any configuration
- of hardware. Apparently they've been selling clones in the Bay area
- for years before going mail order.
