  21. "Slowmicro" has probably had more flames about it on the Net than
  22. Gateway, and I'd tend to lend more credence to them. The bulk of the 
  23. complaints were slow shipping of software. Don't know about their 
  24. machines.

  27. By the way... has anyone bought a HD clone? I was about to buy from 
  28. them a year ago but ended up buying locally. They had had good (but 
  29. few) net.reviews and were willing to ship you almost any configuration 
  30. of hardware. Apparently they've been selling clones in the Bay area 
  31. for years before going mail order.
