  11. Just a quick question for all...

  13. This past weekend at a Computer show I bought (new) a Golden Sound card
  14. Pro II, I had first bought a PAS (but returned it).
  15.  
  16. The price was $125. which was a little less than the PAS ($169)

  18. I switched for two reasons: 1) the seller was local, so if I didn't like
  19. it I can return it easily. and 2) the card claims to be MPU-401 compatible
  20. with an add-on kit.

  22. Questions: Has anybody had any experience using this card? Do any of
  23. you out there have this card? Do you have the upgrade kit (MPU-401/MIDI)?
  24. How is the reliablity? Has anyone hooked this up to a MT-32? (with the
  25. kit) Has anyone hooked this card up to any MIDI instrument?  How much
  26. is the add on kit to upgrade to MPU-401/MIDI?

  28. I'd like to know as much about this as possible so I can return it if
  29. necessary. (asap)

  31. so far the sound is pretty good, and it's supposed to have a surround
  32. sound mode (though I'm only piping it through a Boom box right now)

  34. Lastly, Does anyone have an MT-32 that they want to sell? I'll consider
  35. all offers, and reply to all.
