  16. In a previous post, an individual was/is in the market for a new system and cited
  17. several chipset manufacturers he wanted to know about...
  18.  
  19.    - Chipsets : Vega, Opti, American Digicom, Micronics, AMI, Compat, Free ...
  20.      - Any specific chipsets to look for / avoid?
  21.      - Any 'quirks' to look for / avoid ?
  22.        ( right now I'm running OS/2 and DOS, and plan to play w/ Linux later )

  24. My question is, can anyone out there recommend a journal of sorts that print INFO
  25. on these chipsets as opposed to just referencing them (Computer Shopper).  I
  26. would imagine that most people out there have little or no idea what a given
  27. chipset does for them anyhow (the info I've seen doesn't do anything for me, at
  28. least) and I'll bet some people would like to have said clue about said product.
