- I'm trying to set up an I/O board for COM 3 in our IBM AT compatible,
- not having much success. We already have com1 and com2 working, one is
- for a modem the other is connected to a unix workstation. The card I'm
- adding has two sets of switches, one controls which port the card is
- and the other the interrupt request, IRQ3 and IRQ4. I think I got the
- port switch right, but I'm unsure on the IRQ, what do I need to have
- this set to? IRQ3 or IRQ4? Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.
- The documentation is vague at best, and I don't know what IRQ is used on
- com1 and com2.
-
- thanks,
- Nate
