- I got the connection between my HP48 and the IBM worked
- yesterday. However, I experienced some problems with it.
- In order to maker sure that the transfer will do a safe job,
- I tried to load the pacman.dir from HP48 to computer, and
- the computer to my VMS/VAX account, then reload them back
- on my HP48 by using ASCII fromat in I/O setup. However,
- when I loaded them back, pacman would show the startup screen,
- but fail to run, displays "bad argment...".
- So, I was wondering, do I have to ASC-> a program everytime
- when I upload it to my computer and use ->ASC to decode it, or can
- I just use ASCII without doing any other changes? (notice that
- when I transfered the sting "sin x^2" from HP48 to computer and
- back, it worked just fine. I don't understand what's wrong with
- a directory like pacman.
- Any help would be greatly appricated!
