  23. Quite a few folks have told us it's wonderful. Some have complained about
  24. a few features or lacks thereof, but mostly our customers have been 
  25. pretty happy. The balancing feature you ask about is high on the
  26. 'Why didn't you do *this*?' list.

  28. Suppose we take Methane and Oxygen. CH4 and O2. What are the products of
  29. the reaction? That's easy.....carbon dioxide and water. And maybe a little
  30. carbon monoxide. And some carbonic acid? Possibly some soot, and maybe a
  31. dash of some obscure double-bonded carbon/oxygen compound.

  33. That's why we don't do equation balancing. If you don't know what you're
  34. going to get to start with, it's kind of hard to figure out. Assuming you
  35. do know what you're getting, it will *check* the balance. And it wil *do*
  36. charge balancing.

  38. Our president and resident chemistry guru (he's even got a doctorate...ooh
  39. ahh) wrote this pac, and lots of chemistry-knowledgeable folks on the phone
