  10. I've been trying to write a simple program to print out text files two up
  11. on a deskjet 500. The program took an hour or so to put together and now after
  12. many hours of frustration I've given up!
  13.  
  14. Can anyone tell me why, when in landscape mode on the Deskjet 500 and printing
  15. text the printer insists on putting the first two characters of each line on
  16. the next sheet of paper?
  17.  
  18. I've tried many different combinations of printer setups and file format (with
  19. and without Carriage returns, etc..) and no matter what I do I get the first
  20. two characters of each line on the next sheet. (well not quite always,
  21. occasionally I get 3 characters or 1 character and once or twice none!)
  22.
