  12. I am trying to determine the best price/performance of a dial-up modem
  13. to be used on a HPUX system running SLIP.  I would love to hear how well
  14. this has worked for other folks.  In particular, we will be running SLIP
  15. on HPUX 700's, HPUX 800's, Sun Sparc2 w/SCSImux, PC's and Mac's, so any
  16. relavent information on those is welcome.  As there are so many modems
  17. available that it is hard to make an informed decision.  And to add to 
  18. the complexities there are all sorts of SLIP-variants that work well
  19. in some situations....
