  14.   I have a question for all the experts in this group: I have an Hayes Smartmodem
  15. 9600 attached to my HP-720, with the following device files:

  17.    /dev/ttyd00
  18.    /dev/cua00
  19.    /dev/cul00
  20.  
  21.  I can make outgoing calls with Kermit but I don't know how to let the modem pick
  22. up incoming calls (remote login). I suppose I have to set the modem in "Auto Answer"
  23. mode but the manual does not say anything about that in HP-UX (or inside Kermit).
  24. Since I am new to modem connections, any detailed instructions will be greatly appreciated.
