- I have a question for all the experts in this group: I have an Hayes Smartmodem
- 9600 attached to my HP-720, with the following device files:
-
- /dev/ttyd00
- /dev/cua00
- /dev/cul00
-
- I can make outgoing calls with Kermit but I don't know how to let the modem pick
- up incoming calls (remote login). I suppose I have to set the modem in "Auto Answer"
- mode but the manual does not say anything about that in HP-UX (or inside Kermit).
- Since I am new to modem connections, any detailed instructions will be greatly appreciated.
-
- Sincerely,
-
