- Many of our users connect to our HP's from their PC's. They have a bad habit
- of powering down PC's when done, frequently leaving idle jobs hanging around
- for days before someone gets around to cleaning them up. Occasionally, one
- of the zombies will chew significant resources.
-
- I'm open for any suggestions on preventing this problem, or for cleaning up
- after with a program that notices idle programs and kills them. Most problems
- occur with remote users coming through DTC's.
