- To All Netters:
-
- I'm running a Novell 3.11 for the Macintosh on an Ethernet
- /Localtalk Network.
-
- One of our printer is an HP LaserJet IIISi (with Postscript
- capability) connected via LocalTalk.
-
- A PC in one dept is connected to the Network via Ethernet,
- and running Windows 3.1.
-
- Everytime it tries to print from an Application such as
- Excel, Word or Windows Write the printer just prints a banner
- page but the print job itself is never printed
-
- In the banner the message comes out:
- "Error: undefined; Offending Command: !PS-Adobe-3.0"
-
- Can you help?
-
- In my printer, the "sys switch" from the menu is set to "on"
- which would make it automatically distinguish from Postscript
- to PCL.
-
- Should Windows download its fonts to the printer first?
-
- Thanks
