  14. I'm running a Novell 3.11 for the Macintosh on an Ethernet
  15. /Localtalk  Network.
  16.  
  17. One of our printer is an HP LaserJet IIISi (with Postscript
  18. capability) connected via LocalTalk.
  19.  
  20. A PC in one dept is connected to the Network via Ethernet,
  21. and running Windows 3.1.
  22.  
  23. Everytime it tries to print from an Application such as
  24. Excel, Word or Windows Write the printer just prints a banner
  25. page but the print job itself is never printed
  26.  
  27. In the banner the message comes out:
  28. "Error: undefined; Offending Command: !PS-Adobe-3.0"

  30. Can you help?

  32. In my printer, the "sys switch" from the menu is set to "on"
  33. which would make it automatically distinguish from Postscript
  34. to PCL.

  36. Should Windows download its fonts to the printer first?
