CDD/Repository and CDD/Administartor should help you keep tracking your db-tables and -fields.
Structured RMS-records may be included too, but with those we faced the problem of getting C-definition-includefiles (.h). VAXC allows you to directly access CDD-entries - but for the cost of beeing portable ...
What you won't get this way is a "Company Data Model" or however you would like to call it - but there's DEC with their repository-based DECDESIGN, offering lot's of Methods (YOURDON (DFD), COAD/YOURDON (OOA)) to help you in Analysis and Design, drawing fine charts and producing ton's of paper ...
