- I'd like to make a GEOS boot disk for my 1581 disk drive. I've tried
- using Geo*boot from the Maverick, but I was not successful: The
- Maverick claims that it has successfully made a boot disk, but when I
- try to boot from the disk that is created, the screen turns blue and the
- drive spins. Then I briefly get dumped back where I started and the
- program starts all over again. This goes on until I turn the computer
- off. (The disk that is created has the three files it is supposed to
- have on it, but it isn't formatted as a GEOS disk. Is this usual?)
-
- Has anyone encountered this problem or have any suggestions about how
- to fix it? Barring that, does anyone know of any other way to create
- a GEOS boot disk for the 1581?
