- If you don't want to invest a couple of dollars in a chip extractor,
- (similar to a fuse puller for a car), you can use a samll flathead screwdriver
- to remove the chip. Just be careful of the traces under it, and try to
- remove it with even pressure.
- Regarding buying the chip, why do that, when you can get it from either
- Doc Johnson in Parma or Computer Site in Strongsville? Both still service
- Commodore equipment, although Doc is starting to get up there in age,
- and Computer Site is considering getting out of repairs except for members
- of the local user group, Basic Bits Commodore Group.
