- They aren't rumors, they're true.

- My 3B2/400 is currently running at 14 MHz. To do this, I got a
- 14 MHz crystal, and the complete chipset which has been rated
- for 14 MHz.

- One note. Before I did this permanently, I attempted to just replace
- the crystal, but keep the 10 MHz chipset in the machine and it
- worked. I only ran it for a few hours, but no problems developed
- in that time.

- Another note. Running at 14 MHz has caused some problems. I recently
- had a lot of problems with the machine. I think one of the memory
- cards got flaky. I replace both of them and swapped motherboards,
- and things seem to be working OK again.
