  20. What exactly is your idea of a 'proper' operating system, CP/M, MS-DOS, or
  21. some other crippled OS?  You failed to mention one.  No OS I've seen from the
  22. micro to mainframe level has the elegance and power that UNIX has.  Opinion,
  23. yes, but there are some technical reasons for my stance.  If I didn't think
  24. it was a waste of time, I'd ask for some of yours.

  26. I've got my asbestos suit on so if you want to exchange flames go for it, but
  27. spare the rest of the readers and just e-mail 'em to me.  I've already removed
  28. this message from misc.invest so they don't get anymore of this rapidly 
  29. degenerating thread.
