- Where did I get a 6502 cross-assembler? This is supposed to be a secret?
-
- o I noticed that the KERMIT-65 sources on the ATARI archive contained a
- reference in its "make" file to "as6502".
-
- o I performed an "archie" on the text string "as6502".
-
- o ARCHIE told me that a file called "as6502" lived on the node:
- "ftp.germany.eu.net" in the directory: "/pub/programming/languages".
-
- o I did an FTP "get" of the file "/pub/programming/languages/as6502".
-
-
- I just more or less assumed that "as6502" is needed to assemble
- KERMIT-65, since that is what is listed in the KERMIT-65 "make" file.
- Perhaps the Sysop of the Atari Archive can incorporate it into the
- archives, since people who downloaded KERMIT-65 will also be looking for
- "as6502". This way it would be file requestable via BART (provided that it
- is releasable, and assuming it is the same "as6502" as is mentioned in the
- "make" file).
