- I just read the A2Central and Resource Central (mail order 'catalog'
- that comes with it) today and saw that there's a Shanghai II for the GS.
- I'd heard of this for the Mac and other computers and was surprised to see
- it was written for the GS.. I guess there are a few projects out there
- that aren't known about by all of the net.
-
- Anyway, does anyone know who this was written by? I got Shanghai a
- few years ago (from an Egghead Discount Center), and don't play it much so most
- likely won't get Shanghai II.. I'm just very curious about it.
-
- Is the game (or any of the other versions of it at least) distributed
- by Activision, the author/distributor of the first one? Activision seems to
- be clinging to life.. They filed Chapter 11 a while ago but haven't completely
- dissolved, as far as I know. (Has the Lost Treasures of Infocom helped
- keep 'em alive? at least the Mac/IBM versions, since BRCC does the GS version)
