  12. Shreve Systems is no longer offering the $149 //e -> //gs upgrade.
  13. What they are offering now is a $249 upgrade and you KEEP your //e
  14. motherboard.  This was done for two reasons: 1) most people upgrading
  15. wanted to keep their //e motherboards anyway.  2) They have THOUSANDS
  16. of //e motherboards.  On another note, although //e's and //gs's have
  17. all but disappeared from the dealers' showrooms, Shreve Systems has an
  18. enormous stock of both systems with more arriving daily.  They will be
  19. selling these systems for a long time to come.  New pricing is about to
  20. be announced but I don't have that information yet.  I will post it as
  21. soon as it becomes  available.
