- I beg your pardon... those of us in most of our disgruntled groups do not
- wish to don brown shirts and dismember Sculley....
-
- We simply would like to invite him to a barbecue, warm up his feet a
- little, and have him (in vain) try to explain why they are killing the
- high-end apple // and continuing to support the low-end model....
-
- even tho we know it provided too much competition for the low end macs...
-
- Ya know, its kinda funny, how so many // users are migrating to the
- Monkey-Dos world.... all apple had to do, was build a bridge machine
- (perhaps the new GS) that would run low end mac stuff.... most users would
- upgrade... would be unable to resist the temptation of obtaining mac
- stuff... and, having made an investment in mac software, be more likely to
- migrate to that machine... instead of monkey-dos...
-
- I often wonder if I would be switching now, if a viable upgrade path, that
- didn't destroy my vast software library, were available within Apple's
- product line.... as it is, at least my monkey-dos machine is backward
- compatible.... and I can still run old favorites, even if I upgrade...
