  13. I'm having trouble getting TrueType fonts from a Macintosh to show up
  14. on my GS.

  16. I formatted a macintosh disk on my IIgs and brought it to a friend's
  17. house where he copied some TrueType fonts over to the disk.  When I
  18. put the disk in my machine, the files show up in the finderas an
  19. "unknown" file type.  What gives??

  21. I'm using a GS with system 6.0 and Pointless installed.  BTW, my friend
  22. used Fontmonger to convert some of the fonts to TrueType although I
  23. don't
  24. think this should make any difference.

  26. I'm also wondering where I can download TrueType versions of Avant
  27. Garde,
  28. Palatino, and Zapf Chancery.  GEnie and cco.caltech.edu don't seem to
  29. have them.  Any other good sites for TrueType fonts?

  31. One last question.  I downloaded the TrueType version of Times from
  32. cco.caltech.edu and the file is about 240K.  Why so big?
