  20. Close. ROM 00 was the original release. ROM 01 was the "bug fix" in 1987.

  22. But ROM 02 never existed. Because so many users (according to the legend,
  23. anyway) where confused that ROM 01 was the second ROM release, Apple decided
  24. to call the third ROM release "ROM 03". This was to alleviate the fears of
  25. non-techies who can't figure out how to count from zero. :)
