- Sez you. I got a low dollar secondhand ROM 3 and swapped the board into my
- signature edition case. Let's see: Appletalk in slots 1 or 2, 1 mb more memory,
- step and trace monitor commands that actually work, sticky keys and keyboard
- mouse in hardware, twice as many toolsets in ROM where they run faster, a
- battery that's not soldered to the board, ability to reset the RAM disk size
- without running system diagnostics, the satisfaction of having the newest
- Apple II there wil ever be - those are a few advantages I can name right off
- the top of my head. I think it was definitely worth it.
- If you want a ROM 3 I would try one of the mail order places which sell parts
- and secondhand machines.
