- Lucky me--I have inherited my brother-in-law's Apple II/c. I have several
- questions. 1) I need a printer cable to go from the II/c to an
- Imagewriter II. Kind souls can send me one of course, but failing that:
- can some of the more technically accomplished readers send me some specs
- on how to build a cable which I can send to my local cable-building
- company? I need to know DIN size of both ends, female, male, number of
- pins per, and pin-outs etc. 2) I have an old Duo-Disk Drive. How can I best
- connect this to the II/c so that I can boot from the Duo-Disk and be able
- to use Drive 2 of the Duo-Disk? 3)This may be in the FAq, which I swear
- I've scanned, but: what's the best way to get 5.25 Appleworks files (for a
- IIe, yes IIe) into a Mac machine? Let's say it's going into MacWrite. I'd
- like to know the mechanics/specifics (e.g. "you need a modem, a program
- that will emulate a dumb terminal for the Mac and the IIe...).
