  26. The CDEV is called "Extra Bits" and it works great for eliminating the 
  27. flicker. Apparently, (if my memory serves me!) System 6 uses some BRAM
  28. bits to tell the computer how to handle drawing the cursor if you are
  29. using an accelerator.

  31. Extra Bits is not shareware or freeware so I can't upload it for you.
  32. You can get it by buying a recent back issue of GS+. Or perhaps some-
  33. one has already written a PD program to accomplish the same thing?
