  12. I have an A2000 with a Ricoh removable media 50meg drive named RH2: 
  13. a standard hard drive,  accelerator board etc.
  14.  
  15. I goofed and and now have the system come up with a message "RH2: has a 
  16. checksum error on block 2572." If I cancel the error message the icons 
  17. appear and I can read the files that were on the disk before I caused
  18. the error. However there was a large group of files that I had unset all
  19. of the protection bits. I would like to be able to recover those files.
  20. When I send a command to set any of those files to read I get the system
  21. message "Rh2: is not validated."
  22.  
  23. Does any one have suggestions for what I might try to do in order to
  24. recover those read protected files?
