- NONONO! The first time I saw a CDTV, it looked like my audio CD player with
- a Nintendo pad. And that's basically what a stock CDTV is: A CD based
- Nintendo. Yes, you can add a keyboard and other things to make it a
- CD based A500, but that's really an ineffecient way to get a CD-ROM on
- an A500 and get support for it. C= doesn't need to release yet another
- CDTVish machine. They don't even need to release another machine! All
- they really need to release is a standard driver (maybe a CD-ROM drive)
- that'll let you read the ISO (and perhaps the Mac HFS) stuff. Under
- 3.x, that's a snap! Add one file to the workbench disks in the
- devs/DOSDrivers directory, and that shold be quite enough to encourage
- developers.
- "Bundle a CD-ROM with a 1200/4000"? Yes, but make it an add-on option.
- Make "CDTV II"? No.
