- RTFM!! Perhaps you meant RTM; you're being a bit harsh on Jon. When running a
- program for the first time, I would expect some reasonable default values to
- have been supplied by the programmer--and having to edit a config file first
- to set these is not what I call user-friendly (god, I hate that phrase). I
- also complain (quietly) when an author (not KingFisher's)
- 1. insists his support files will be in the root directory.
- 2. requires a config file in S: (my S: is full of long unneeded files
- just because the default directory was not searched first
- 3. thinks that all users run off df0:
- 4.....
- even when its all explained in the manual.
-
- This is not to complain about KingFisher--its great and much faster than
- Aquarium. I'm sure the author will be incorporating many little improvements
- over time. You can't get them all the first or even the tenth release.
