- Can someone tell me EXACTLY what type of SIMMS the Amiga 4000 uses?
- The 4000 documentation doesn't list makes/manufacturers/etc... and I
- have been told that there are both 8 and 9 chip SIMMS, 16 and 32bit SIMMS,
- etc...
-
- My big concern is whether or not 4 megabyte SIMMS taken from a Mac are
- compatible - my initial reaction is NO, considering that Memory World has
- 4 meg SIMMs for $109 and then it has A4000 4meg SIMMS for $159 - this
- obviously leads me to believe there is a difference.
-
- Any help would be appreciated - Please resond in Email, and if I get
- enough repsonses I will post a summary to the newsgroup
-
- Thanks in advance.
