- other port of tar to the Amiga is much, much better. It is smaller,
- faster, more compatible with Unix tar, and handles appending to
- tapes (TAPE:app) where GNU tar does not. Trust me; I tried them
- both and the difference between them is huge. The tar I use is
- about 35K, doesn't require arp.library, is smaller, faster, and
- works better. I've used it to transfer data to and from Unix via
- DAT tape with no troubles.
