- HiLo. Flipping through the January 1993 issue of AmigaWorld, I see
- an advertisement for what looks like something that is too good to be
- true for the price:
-
- The CSA Derringer Acellerator:
- An acellerator board that fits inside an A1000, 2000 or 500, that
- has a 25 MHZ 030 CPU with 6881, and room for 32 megs of 32 bit ram,
- that comes with 4 megs of ram (remaps kickstart), for only $500?!
-
- I am considering buying it for my spare A1000, which I may be running a
- BBS on shortly. Has anyone had any experiences with this piece of hardware?
- ...oh, and, where does this thing plug in? It looks like one of those
- things that sits on the motherboard and replaces a few chips. The reason
- I am wondering is I still need to fit a SCSI controller on the 1000.
-
-
- Input/reviews appreciated.
