- Well, I had been using 2.1 with no problems for about a week now, but
- today a ran into a serious problem. I was messing around with AMAX,
- trying to get it to recognize a Mac HD I have hooked up to my machine
- (a A3000 16MHz, BTW). When I warm-booted out of AMAX, my Amiga drives
- refused to boot under any of the 2.1 HD partitions or floppies that
- I have. After some investegation, I found that it was setpatch, the
- first thing called in the startup-sequence of all my disks - setpatch
- was immediately locking up my machine when it tried to boot. If I
- comment out the setpacth line in the startup-sequence, my drives will
- boot, but WorkBench becomes kind of unstable.
-
- Has _anyone_ run into this kind of problem before? Any ideas on fixing
- this. I'm afraid I'm completely baffled by this . . .
-
- Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
