- -> I would like for anyone who has used one of these monitors
- -> (especially, the NEC and SONY) to answer a few questions for me.
- ->
- -> 1) can it use overscan?
- -> 2) How quickly does it change between screens of different synch
- -> rates? 3) How "sharp" is the display?
- -> 4) Are the controls easily accessible from the front?
-
- I have the Sony 1302:
-
- 1. Yes, all the way to the edges.
-
- 2. Very, very fast.
-
- 3. It has a .25mm dot pitch trinitron, much sharper than the other two
- monitors.
-
- 4. No, they are in the back, very incovenient. But you don't have to
- mess with them much.
-
- The Sony by far has a better display. I traded in a NEC 3D for the
- Sony, I've seen a 1960, the tube was a bit too much bubble like for my
- tastes.
