  30. Well not necessarily so.  I put the MMR configuration program as the first 
  31. entry in my startup sequence as recommended in the MMR instruction manual:

  38. This allows setpatch to turn on both the instruction and data caches.  In
  39. my system (An A500, MMR w/4Megs 32bit ram.) SysInfo shows a definite speed
  40. increase with both caches enabled.  Turning on the burst modes has no effect
  41. according to SysInfo.
