- I assume it's legal to use an image of my 4000's KS ROM on my 3000
- as long as the code only runs on one computer at once, right???
-
- I've got a soft-kick 3000 (ie: uses the devs:kickstart file) so
- I was hoping I could just copy the 512k area from $f80000-$ff0000
- on my 4000 and put it on my 3000 as devs:kickstart. Bombs... and
- my original devs:kickstart file is longer than 512k so I started
- wondering.
-
- Guess I need some "stuff" at $ff0000+ in order to set the system vectors
- prior to rebooting into KS 3.0??? Anyone done this work already? Any
- other pointers along these lines.
-
- Email please. Will post the summary.
