- The XA is just multiple session support. You take in one roll of film, have
- them develop it onto the CD. You have a CD with 24 pictures. Then, you take
- another roll of film, hand them back the CD, and they place another "session"
- on it with the new 24 pictures. From what I understand, the way the CD is
- mastered, you can't modify what's already there (ie update directory tables
- for more entries) so you have to add to the end of the info. Multiple session.
- A standard drive will supposedly just look at the first session, therefore a
- simple short term solution is to just take in four rolls of film at once and
- have all of your pictures put onto one session. Next you have to get onto
- Kodak's *ss and get them to release the YCC file format specs so that
- companies like ASDG can write loaders for them. (Right now, Kodak doesn't seem
- to want to share the candy...)
