  11. The XA is just multiple session support. You take in one roll of film, have
  12. them develop it onto the CD. You have a CD with 24 pictures. Then, you take
  13. another roll of film, hand them back the CD, and they place another "session"
  14. on it with the new 24 pictures. From what I understand, the way the CD is
  15. mastered, you can't modify what's already there (ie update directory tables
  16. for more entries) so you have to add to the end of the info. Multiple session.
  17. A standard drive will supposedly just look at the first session, therefore a 
  18. simple short term solution is to just take in four rolls of film at once and
  19. have all of your pictures put onto one session. Next you have to get onto
  20. Kodak's *ss and get them to release the YCC file format specs so that
  21. companies like ASDG can write loaders for them. (Right now, Kodak doesn't seem
  22. to want to share the candy...)
